Owasso Rams Boys Basketball Preview – Presented by Renaissance Realty

Coach: Brian Montonati
20-21 Record: 18-4

The Owasso Rams ended last season on a tough note, falling by two points in the first round of the Class 6A state tournament. As they enter this new season, tenth-year head coach Brian Montonati says that his club brings experience and a winning mentality and is ready to hit the court. “We are a senior-led team with the potential to have a great season,” he said. “We will have to be defensive-minded in order to reach the goals we have set out as a team.” Senior forward Caden Fry (6-7, Sr.) averaged twelve points and shot 52 percent from the field. He has a strong work ethic and is a hard-working player. EJ Lewis (5-11, Jr.) will be playing point guard. He runs the team on the court and he will be called on to have a bigger scoring game this season. Caleb Leslie (5-0, Sr.) is an effective ball-handler and also shot 40 percent from the three-point line last season. He will look to make a bigger impact on the floor this season. Another solid shooter for the Rams will be Isaiah McLemore (So.), who has worked hard on his overall game and is becoming a solid all-around player. Price Pennington (Sr.) does a little bit of everything for the team. From playing solid defense to rebounding and scoring, he will be a strong player this season. Excelling on the court as well as in the classroom, Zane Harbaugh (Sr.) carries a 4.0 GPA and also volunteers around the community.
