Franchisee – Ray and Heather Adcock

With over 250 locations nationwide, Christian Brothers Automotive is one of the leading auto repair and maintenance companies in the country. Ray Adcock, owner of Christian Brothers in Owasso, says he started his franchise in December of 2012 to get his family back to Green Country and to live out his faith through his work.
“I grew up in Green Country but was living in the Dallas area and searching for a way to move back home to raise my family,” he says. “I always wanted to own a business and I was determined that I would live out my faith through my business. It was a great fit to purchase a faith-based franchise with a history and reputation with whom I wanted to be associated. This opportunity provided us a pathway to satisfy both dreams.”
Adcock and Christian Brothers Automotive provides a variety of repair and maintenance services. They do anything from simple oil changes to engine repair to brakes and everything else in between. Adcock also says they employ professional technicians and have the same computer diagnostic equipment as a dealership.
With a motto of “Love your neighbor as yourself,” Adcock says it’s important for Christian Brothers to be involved in the Owasso community.
“Owasso is such a great community to be a part of,” Adcock says. “We are intentionally involved in many organizations, support our local schools, and support our surrounding first responders. We promise, your investment in us will be an investment in our community.”
The support of local schools and athletics is something near and dear to Adcock’s heart.
“I am a firm believer that youth sports provide so much more life lessons than just physical exercise,” he says. “Teaching kids to work hard over a long period of time to reach a goal transcends just athletic competition. Teaching kids to work together as part of a team to accomplish goals that cannot be reached individually is a lesson that is true in almost every aspect of life. They grow up to work on teams in academic settings, work settings, community settings, church settings, and if they choose to have a family, guess what, it’s a team setting. Youth sports prepares kids for life.”
